Art

Today I started in a new art group  we are working with lino. The theme that we are doing is a row of houses in a street here is my photo I am using to help me.

We had  to search up rows of houses I have done two of them on my draft. I have done the patterns on the roof's and still working on the blow bit. I cannot wait until next week. 

One hundred years since world war one

This week at school we have been learning about anzac day and how it has  been one hundred years since world war one.We have Anzac day on 25 of Aripl because that is the day that the new zealanders and australia land.people wear poppys to rember who fourght in war.They  buried the bodys on the battle feild or where they got shoot or stabed some had cross.The people on your side would buried you they would be put in a hole with some one that die at the same time. They stopped fitting on chirstmas day it was really cold in war.If people die and they have a letter waiting for them at the places they satyed it would get sent back to the person that sent the letter.the dogs wear tin around there neckss the would slid a note in it and it would find help. 






They used a messngerr dog to to get hlep some times the put in somthing to tell them were they are.Anzac satnds for Australia new zealand army corps.they would get sent to the nurses on a strecher they will stay in the beds for a cuble of days depens on how bad they are.

Today I did j rock practise I learnt some new  things.  We are going to be wearing a dress so we hold the end of ,the dress and spin half way, then we tip toe the other way and stop half way.   Then once we do that, some people get to do a cartwheel.   We may be allowed  to do the splits as well but we are not sure yet because we are wearing  dresses.   we practise in or group then we practise with some older girls.  hopefully we get to try on our outfits. I can not wait for or next practise hopefully we find out if we can do the splits or not.

Camp

On Monday we started  our camp, it was so COOL !!! We started our first activity it was Top Town. The whole idea was to work as a team. We got back and got ready for the water slides ,the water hole and kayaking. There was a small slide and a big slide that went in to the water. The small slide had mud at the end of it. I did all of them. The water hole was cool. You jumped off a bridge that was two metres above the water. The water was cold but refreshing. We went back and had a shower. When it got dark we went on the burma trail.  The parents were hiding in the bush and behind trees. We were holding onto a rope. I felt awesome afterwards because it was dark and I had got through without too much screaming.
The next day we got into our activity groups and had five activities to do. My group started with the go carts, the go kart that I drove was yellow. I did two laps of the track.  After we had lunch my group went on to the crate climb where we had to put milk crates on top of each other and make a tower. I had to sit on the top and balance so my tower didn't fall down. Luckily I was in a harness! I got 15 crates then I fell. Our next activity was the flying fox. We had a screaming competition.  We then did abseiling, I thought I was going in a boat but it was using ropes to climb down a wall. I had two turns.  Rock climbing was my last activity and it was so cool. I climbed up the blue and green walls. 
At night we went eeling. We didn't catch any, but I still had fun. We made damper and smores and sat around the campfire.
We went on the hydro slide on the last day. Me and Freya went down as a train together. We went really fast down the drop and had to do starfish to slow down. 
Camp was so much fun, because I was with my friends.
