If I meet Richie Macaw

If I were to meet Richie Macaw I would ask him What was you most proud moment when you were playing for the All Blacks?  I would thank him for representing New Zealand I being a great leader. I would also ask him what is one of your goals and why. What would you like to be if your weren't an All Black. Is there anything you would want to do differently.   

Camp

My goal for camp is to get to know people better and get out of my comfort zone because I feel that it would be good for me. Because at school I normal work with same people but I have started to work with different people and would like to continue this at camp. I am coming to camp because It would be a good time for me to work on some of my goals like being me and working in a team better.

I think that I will need all my learning powers because I will need to connect with people because we will be working in a team a lot of the time. I will need being me because I don't need to do all the things that my friends do.  As well as resilience because if there is anything that will be changeling witch there will be I will need to use this learning power. I will also need curiosity because if I don't how to do something.  

If I have a problem I will ask one of the instructor, and when I am back at camp I will one of the teachers. I think if I use good manners that will help solve my problem because if I am rude they will not want to help me. I think to be a good team member I will need to play my part in the group and share my ideas with everyone.

World’s most expensive taco

A resort in mexico has created the world’s expensive taco. But the resort is yet to find a customer ready to pay $37,000 New Zealand money for one taco. The taco was created by chef Juan Licerio Alcala, who said that he wanted to think outside the square. People are excited and a little surprised about how you can you eat a taco that is worth $37,000 when you can find one for ten dollars on the streets. He said that it will all be worth it. What makes this taco worth $37,000? The taco has corn tortilla that is speckled with 24 carat gold flake. Then it is filled with pricey Kobe beef, shrimp, black truffle brie cheese and almas beluga caviar. Kiwi kids news.

Leadership 20/03/17

Today we are working leadership and talking about what type of leaders we might like to be. One of the things that I had to do was make a tagul of a punch of words that make me leader. Some of the words I did were determined, committed, honest and brave. Here is what I did

Thames valley

Yesterday I had Thames valley swimming I made it in for 3 things which was 2 lengths breaststroke 2 backstroke and 2 lengths freestyle. It felt like a long day. In that time we had made good luck charms but once my first race was done the day went a lot quicker. I got 4th or 5th in my breaststroke which is pretty good because I am not the best at it. I got 1st in backstroke which was really unexpected and I got 3rd in freestyle which is pretty good.   The thing I am most proud of is getting first in backstroke and I was pretty cool because my name got called over the loudspeaker. I finished the day off with a caramel ice cream.

Frenchman finds gold under house

A Frenchman who inherited a big house from a family member has found 100kg of gold hidden under the furniture. The gold, it turned out, was bought in the 1950s and 1960s. There was 5,000 gold pieces, two bars of 12 kg and 37 ingots of 1 kg. The gold is worth around about 3.5 million. The gold was very well hidden. It was only found when the new owner started moving things around. It has already been sold to buyers from France and overseas.

Hp swimming sports

Yesterday we had HP swimming sports HP swimming sports is exactly like our school swimming sports except there is other schools. I got in for 2 lengths freestyle, 2 lengths backstroke and 2 breaststroke. I also got in for 3 lengths freestyle, 3 lengths backstroke and 3 breaststroke. For 2 lengths freestyle I got first I also got first in 2 lengths backstroke for my 2 lengths breaststroke I got 3rd. For the 3 lengths races I got 4th and 3rd but the 3 length races where I bit hard because we had to races 12 year olds. I got 4th in my freestyle and backstroke and 3rd in breast stroke in breast stroke I was only racing one 12 year old. For the relays the flying squad team was Jayden Freya and Katie as well as me we came first in that and in our second relay we got second to TK collage. I think I did pretty good and I think I made it into Thames valley.

Donald Trump star has a wall

On the Hollywood walk of fame a street artist has built a wall around Donald Trumps star. The wall is around about 15 cm tall, the street artist has also added little details like little signs saying keep out and a mini barbed wire around the top as well as mini American flags.

The wall was constructed Tuesday the same day Trump officially became the Republican nominee for president. The artist thinks that the US is beautiful incredible places. With dozens of people from different nations. Kiwi kids news.
