HP athletics

The day started off sunny and nice, people from all over the Hauraki plains came to run, jump and leap for the Hauraki plains athletics. My race was in the middle of the day so I had a lot of time to watch the other races. My 800m race was about to begin, on your marks get set to go the gun had shot and all the girls were gone I was 2nd in the front knowing that I had 1 more lap to complete I stared to slow down . I was sitting in third we had or the last 100m left I tried to get my legs moving a little faster and crossed the finish line my legs were shaking my faces was rosy red and I was out of breath. The sun was gone and the rain begins then the thunder came followed by the lighting the weather wasn't as good for the end of the day but overall it was a good day.
